Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a long-term care facility in Walsenburg, CO. The RN will be responsible for providing quality care to our residents and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and monitoring residents' health and well-being
- Developing and implementing care plans
- Administering medications and treatments
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Documenting residents' medical histories and progress
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Providing emotional support to residents and their families
- Supervising and training nursing assistants and other staff members
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Colorado
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
